Today ...

I'm on a roll ... two more layouts today!

The first is a really simple ... no ... I'll call it 'clean' ... I played with embellishments, but in the end I wanted it to feel 'quiet' ... it's really easy on the eyes ... I like it!

by the SEA   Kouchibouguac National Park
Steve and I travelled to the east coast in 2003.  On the way back we stopped in Kouchibouguac National Park for a day ... our last stop 'by the sea'.  So, yeah, it rained while we were there, but we did manage to walk the short Marsh Walk Trail without getting too wet ... and I took exactly 3 pictures ... here they are!

And ... it's based on a sketch in Sketches for Scrapbooking ... I've used it before ... less is more!

And this one ...

Simon sez  I love Wave
My mother used to have a giant golden retriever ... she was a big girl!  They also had a big mouse problem and so she rescued a teeny tiny kitten ... she named him Simon.  We were all so nervous ... Wave could so easily hurt, or even kill the little thing ... accidentally.  Well, it was love at first sight with the two of them.  Simon would pull and jump, knead and even ride on Wave ... and she loved him dearly!  Oh ... and Simon took care of the mouse problem!

This layout is based on an Allison Davis sketch class (6X6) that I downloaded from Scrapbook Generation.  There's some free stuff there too, so check it out!
